We are super excited about these brand new reels from Abu Garcia. This is the BEAST 400 LP. It has a huge offset gearbox with large paddle handle and double cast control.

The Shimano Sedona C5000XG is lighter (11.2oz), has a higher 24.3lb drag, and a faster 6.2:1 retrieve, but uses only 3 bearings and a composite body

By my estimates, the Model 22060 has a footprint of 19” x 10.5” x 14”, and would likely weight about 7 to 8 pounds unloaded, a concern if not for the very robust top carrying handle and locking front buckles that snap closed and stay there
